The test is designed to detect IgG antibodies against the virus that causes COVID-19 infection. These antibodies can begin being made by the body as early as 7-10 days after symptoms start. The IgG antibody remains in the blood even after the infection has resolved. This test can not tell us if you currently have COVID-19 infection but rather tells us if you may have been infected in the recent past. At this time it is unknown how much protection having these antibodies may provide against future COVID-19 infection.

What do my COVID-19 Antibody Test results mean?

The COVID-19 antibody test will tell us if your body has created a COVID-19 antibody or not. It is thought that it can take up to 6 weeks for your body to learn how to make this new antibody to be detected. This test does NOT indicate if you are immune to COVID-19 as there isn't enough evidence/science to say if you are immune or not.

How long does it take for test results?

Test results should be available within 2-3 business days.
